Chill Island Festival @ Churchill Island

Chill Island is an all ages family friendly event held on the picturesque Churchill Island which is part of Phillip Island Nature Park. Kids under 13 are free entry and don't need a ticket. There are plenty of activities for kids in the market like face painting, temporary tattoos etc. You can bring a ball to kick around the paddocks and walk off around the island to explore. 2008’s festival featured a brilliant line up that included The John Butler Trio, The Waifs, Archie Roach and Dan Sultan. Chill Island is intimate, cool and friendly, a little like a country fair by the sea. Delicious vegetarian food, burgers, cold beer, great wines and a most amazing site. The sweet summer sounds of some of the hottest folk, dub, jazz, roots and groove artists on the Australian mainland… sitting on the grass with friends, gazing down the long low slope to the sea behind the stage!
